If you already have an active subscription to HISTORY Vault, you will need to end your current subscription before redeeming your gift code. Gift codes cannot currently be added on to an existing subscription.
Here’s how to cancel your current subscription and use your gift code:
- Sign in at historyvault.com/sign-in. Click your name in the upper right corner and select 'My Account.'

Click 'Cancel Subscription' to end your subscription, or follow the instructions given to cancel through Roku, Apple, or Google Play.
If you are on a standard subscription, cancellation will be effective at the end of your current monthly or annual billing period. If you are already on a gift or promotional subscription, please wait until the end of your full gift or promotional period before cancelling. Any unused portion of your previous gift code or promotion will not transfer to your new subscription. - Once your subscription has ended and your account is inactive, go to historyvault.com/redeem/gift to enter your gift code and restart your subscription.
